Meo Kalorama 2024: An Explosive and Eclectic Lineup
The Meo Kalorama festival is back with a bang for its latest edition, promising to set the Parque Bela Vista in Lisbon ablaze from August 31st to September 2nd.
A First Day of Nostalgia and Energy
The opening night is already shaping up to be explosive, blending legendary acts with rising stars. Alternative rock enthusiasts will be thrilled to see Blur, while The Prodigy will electrify the crowd with their explosive electro-punk. For indie rock fans, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Metronomy will be on hand, while M83 will offer a melancholic and dreamy interlude. On the national front, Pongo, Rita Vian, and Scúru Fitchádu will proudly represent the Portuguese music scene, while the Panorama stage will host a selection of DJs for electronic music lovers.
A Second Day of Eclectic and Hypnotic Music
Friday will be marked by an impressive musical diversity. Florence + The Machine will bring her powerful vocals and mystical universe, while Aphex Twin will take festival-goers on a journey into the depths of experimental electronic music. Belle & Sebastian and Baxter Dury will deliver both intimate and energetic performances, while Shygirl and Arca will spice up the evening with their avant-garde electro-pop worlds. The national stage will also be well-represented with Capitão Fausto and Eu.Clides, while the Panorama stage promises new discoveries with talented DJs.
A Final Day of Celebration and Diversity
Saturday will be the opportunity to party until the wee hours of the morning. Arcade Fire and Foals will ignite the main stage with their rock anthems, while gothic icon Siouxsie will cast a spell on the audience. Pabllo Vittar will bring a touch of glamour and Brazilian pop, while Young Fathers and Nu Genea live band will shake up the festival-goers with their overflowing energy. The national stage will be represented by Dino D’Santiago and Sen Senra, while the Panorama stage will offer a grand finale with an electro-dance lineup.
