Jamiroquai: First Headliner Confirmed for CoolJazz 2026
The British band Jamiroquai is the first major act confirmed for CoolJazz 2026. The festival returns to Cascais from July 1 to 31, 2026. Jamiroquai, led by Jason “Jay” Kay, performs on July 18 at Hipódromo Manuel Possolo. This marks their first appearance at Ageas CoolJazz in Portugal.
With over 30 years of career, Jamiroquai has shaped the international music scene. Their sound blends jazz, funk, soul, disco, and electronic music. Hits like Virtual Insanity, Cosmic Girl, Little L, and Seven Days in Sunny June have become worldwide anthems.
The band has earned 15 Brit Award nominations, an Ivor Novello Award, a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Album, a Guinness World Record for best-selling funk album, sold over 27 million albums, and amassed 1 billion YouTube views and 1.7 billion streams. Their unique style inspired artists like Pharrell, Thundercat, and Tyler the Creator.

The 2026 edition reinforces Cascais as a key cultural venue. Concerts will take place at Hipódromo Manuel Possolo and Parque Marechal Carmona, offering intimate, sophisticated nights where nature meets culture.
