Parades, parties and events | February 13 → March 2, 2026

Lisbon doesn’t celebrate Carnival in one single square or one big parade. Here are the main Lisbon Carnival 2026 events across neighborhoods, cultural spaces, clubs and popular streets.

This guide gives you a map of the city during Carnival:
where the street parades happen, where to go out at night, and which areas concentrate the energy from day to night.

Curated selection by a team based in Lisbon, in connection with local venues and collectives.

Street Parades & Carnival in Lisbon

🎭 Join the Lisbon Carnival

Lisbon’s Carnival is participatory: most blocos welcome new participants and organize ensaios (open rehearsals) accessible to everyone.

Street parades are free for both participants and spectators, but organizing them has real costs (security, logistics, permits). Many collectives rely on donations, so consider supporting them.

Below you’ll find the main blocos and their Instagram pages / websites to contact them. Following them is worth it year-round: workshops, concerts and regular events.
